Sweet, if the wifey is OK with another HL, it'd be quite timely for when our '14 lease is up in the first half of next year
Nice upgrades that make it quite possibly worthwhile to stick to "pretty much the same car" instead of going to something new all together:
- 8 speed tranny
- DFI engine with more top end and mid range, hopefully still requiring only 87 octane
- better city and hwy MPG
- Limited and LTD Plat trims now apparently can be optioned with a 2nd row bench. As it turns out, I think we'd prefer this actually...kids' car seats are almost permanently in those captain chairs anyway...
- Gonna prolly get the rear entertainment system, and forego the admittedly nice pano roof; kids don't care for it nearly as much as I expected, and honestly, dealing with iPads is a pain in the a$$, what with forgetting to charge them, mount and hide them when parking and stuff, and forgetting them at home all together...
- new brown leather interior color (sweet!)
- possibly LED headlights (but I have the aftermarket bulbs anyway)
- possibly LED tail lamps (they already look nicer, in the photos)
- more USB ports
- radar cruise now will likely be FULL range (capable of continuing from below 25mph all the way to a complete stop, and back up again, unlike the current system)
- new exterior colors
- technically a safer car than my 2014 (they made the update for this for 2016 I believe?)
- Pedestrian Pre-Collision System (sweet!)
- Bird’s Eye View Camera with Perimeter Scan (sweet x 2!)
- Possibly front sensors (finally)
- parking assist
And, I'd be getting it from the same dealer I presume, so the chance of them bending over backwards extra on a nice deal for me for repeat business is likely...
