not everything on spy photos is show room setup. Often they have left over mismatched body parts under camo as they are still developing body panels tail lamp housings etc. They want to see how the interior behaves as well. They are road testing it to see how it does on the road not for a fashion show. Unless you have put one together, it is still going through iterations of improvement.

If its anything at all the 9th and 10th gen Corollas then the Asian Market Corolla Altis already out is what we will get (with minor tweaks that IMO always look worse than theirs).

The 2013 Phillipine market Corolla Altis looks like a baby Camry even borrowing the tail lights. I would bet it looks just like that. Which is actually a very nice looking car.

yeah I see it! honestly I don't think it looks that bad just needs a few upgrades and mods

I do see the resemblance. And remember the HS250 was Corolla chassis based.

that "2013 Altis" is not an Altis or Corolla...it is an Avensis (a facelifted one). And definitely, it is much more related to the recently gone Lexus HS than the Corolla.

Well hopefully they use the Avensis. Remember out Corollas are not based on Corollas at all. Rather off the small body Camry Vista platform while the Japanese models stayed on the regular platform.

The HS250h wasn't a bad looking car although it was a bit too narrow and upright for my tastes. And I hated that it was a hybrid.

It might've do better looking like this now (JDM only), where it is selling quite well, but then Japanese tastes are different than ours.

It's doubtful that they'll use the Avensis...the tC sits on the Avensis platform, and the Corolla has its own, shared with the Matrix and Auris, which Europe has.

they just need to rethink that whole platform fragmentation......i want that avensis
