Lexus sales on fire

With 6 weeks left in 2005, Lexus set an all-time sales record on November 15th. By the end of 2004, Toyota had found 8,318 takers of brand new Lexus cars and trucks, the previous record. Yesterday, they matched that number.

Stuart Payne, Director of Lexus in Canada, attributes their excellent numbers to excellent quality, elegance and customer service. In a market where the general sales trend is a downward spiral, Lexus shows that it has a product that discerning customers want.

Lexus first arrived in 1989 and has, ever since, reshaped the luxury car market by offering reliable, desirable and environmentally friendly vehicles.

In reference to the ones in red. Is that a good thing?

^^ Yeah...why is that? Is it because of all the recalls that Toyota have been doing?

Lexus sales might be on fire but how come I hardly see any new GS or IS around the streets of Toronto?

Ditto. I've only seen one GS with a Canadian plate. BC of course.

I saw my first IS today but my friends have already seen a few.

That's because they are not the top selling models.

How many ES and RX models do you see? Quite a lot I'm guessing.

Besides, I've already seen the new IS twice, and I see the new GS fairly often.

The new IS is in short supply, especially the IS350, so don't expect to see tons of them.
