The 2007 Prius doesn't really come with much difference from it's 2003-2006 models. Only minor changes on the exterior. The grill now gets a new chrome lining in the middle, and the taillights now come with it's own signal bulb instead of just a brake/signal bulb in one. Not to mention certain packages now get the new 16" 7-spoke wheels . 195/55R16. THe new Prius also comes with now standard leather on certain packages as well and a sport touring wing.
2) Technically those wheels aren't new, since the game Gran Turismo 4 (which has been out since I think February of this year) has the current generation Prius with the same rims. But I see what you're saying--new to the U.S.

It's the 2006. Those wheels are the stock Euro/JDM wheels at P195/55R16 on Michelin Pilots.
The new rear spoiler you speak of is the Type B extended spoiler on Touring Selection models in Japan.
Taillights are the same, single bulb red light. No difference. Brake lights now have a chrome background instead of the black background we have.
You're right about the chrome grille. There's also a new HYBRID emblem on the front fender. By the looks of things, it might also be featured on NA models.
The dark blue shown is still not available here.

No they didn't. Guess they didn't want to mess around. It was the same with the old Prius. When it came over here, all it did was add a rear spoiler and lose those plastic bumper guards.

he made the grille smaller, added projectors and integrated the foglights into the bumper. I like the foglight bit. Can't have projectors on the current Prius. Will look ugly actually. And the grille can't be made smaller cause it has to cool 3 radiators - the engine's, the inverter's and the A/C.
