Wow!! I've seen the Yaris or Belta (in Japan) pictures before, but not like this. I'm liking it a lot! I like the hatchback version but now that I see these very nice pictures of the sedan variant, its going to be a tough decision on whether which one I like the most, it may be a tie. It looks so nice inside and out. Of course I know or I'm guessing the U.S. version might be "scaled down" a little bit but its still nice! Great pictures!

Whats with the flat floor? How come no one else can do this? I thought the Avalon had a lfat floor because it had a long enough wheel base. The Camry doesnt, so why shold the Echo?

umm other cars are starting to have them too, I believe the new Civic has rear flat floor too.
Anyone can do it, just depends on the platform (chassis) they're working with. And cars with 4wd variants won't really have flat-floor, same goes for RWD cars.
And why shouldn't the Echo? With such small interior space to work with, you gotta make every little bit counts. Whereas the Avalon and Camry can afford a little sacrifice in space when they already have so much to work with. There're many other reasons too, but unfortunately I don't have all night. Later.
^^^well, in a way this is technically the closest thing to an Echo sedan replacement. Since the (1st gen) Echo hatchback was originally called the Yaris in Europe, and called Echo hatchback in Canada and Hong Kong. Only the Echo sedan was kinda the bastard child, but nonetheless Toyota's North American marketing department was "smart enough" to call the sedan an Echo. I hope Toyota won't revive the Echo name again, and makes me wanna rip out the Echo-badge on my hatchback and replace it with a Vitz-badge.
I agree with Ekam, if you're gonna provide us some new toyota pictures, at least do some research on the car, especially if it's gonna be part of the US lineup in the future.
The fact is, as of now the Belta is a vehicle that's only available in Japan. There's no official Toyota announcement of it coming to North America. If anyone can find any news related to that I would like to see a link posted on here.
Yeah, the Belta is a different model from the Vitz/Yaris. Even though the style and designs are similar, they're totally different cars. Unless the Toyota Japan site is lying then (I read some of the concepts and design statements on the site btw. )

Toyota showed a picture of the Yaris sedan which looks similar to the Belta but is left hand drive at SEMA 2005. There's a thread about that somewhere. There will be some minor changes for the Yaris sedan vs. the Belta. I think the sedan is not available for Canada since Toyota Canada is getting the Vitz/Yaris 5-door as well as the Yaris 3-Door.
