see, the thing is, the Sienna is a NA only vehicle. It is NOT sold in Europe. Secondly, the Sienna and Estima are two separate vehicles. Hell, they're not even the same size. The Estima can probably fit inside our current Sienna (ok maybe not but you get my drift).

The Estima is basically what we would've gotten if we didn't kill off the Previa back in 1997.

IMO the Sienna Hybrid is the next logical choice for a number of reasons.

.. The technology already exists in the Estima and the Camry and the HH/Rx400h.
.. The buying demographic for Sienna's is very similar to that of the upscale Camry's and HH/Rx400h.
.. The concerns of the Sienna buyer are very often on economy. The power of a V6 with the fuel economy of a 4c has a 'hook'.
.. The minivan buyer opts for a more sensible choice to move people than say an SUV buyer.

.. Honda has already announced that it will have a DIESEL Odyssey out in MY 2008, Toyota cannot let Honda steal the spotlight in terms of fuel eonomy and environmental 'leadership'.

.. The pricing of minivans is more in the $27,000 - $31,000 range where the HSD system is better fitted.

Sienna 07 should have the new 3.5L engine. New alloy wheels?

They are expected to hit the dealership in December/Janurary if i'm not mistaken.
