It would be fairly expensive (if they build it as described), but think if they keep the price at the level of the Corvette or a little lower, it should be a success.

Got a few questions about that article:
1- It is said by whom? The part of the article that mentions that toyota had planned a 4.3L engine but then a 5.0.
2- What is a Lexus GT 450, is that the name for the LF-A now?
3- How do they know that the engine will be producing X hp and X ft-tq?

it is the april 06 road & track . that issue had three toyota/lexus soon to be carr inside . the IS450(400 bhp) , Supra (450 bhp) and and GT450 (500) and they are all overpriced . i just priced a 400+ bhp corvette at 46k , and the new shelby starts at 40k with 475+bhp plus a new camaro will be out late this year with 400+bhp 6.2L V-8 .
