Next LandCruiser shape.... ?

I know this has been mentioned before but wondering if anybody has heard anything.

I am NOT talking about the FJ Cruiser.

I know USA will stop getting the LC and the US websites don't even have information on the ALREADY CHANGED shape of Land Cruiser (5 door) in the middleast....

Anybody from the Middleast want to share some information?

I am googled and excited and yahooed out and absolutely nothing has been found...

I don't have money to purchase the NEW Corolla so why do I give a flying F*** what the next LC looks like?

Because LCs are my dream vehicles ............ As soon as I liquidate my 401k (30 years later), I am buying a ticket to Saudi Arabia to pick me a TLC stickshift and bring back to USA.

Middleast gets them in Stick shift VX-R MODELS and that about gives me an orgasm....

I GOT MORE COMMENTS BELOW.....

have you tried Toyota Australias website. The only thing is in most other parts of the world every Toyota SUV is a LandCruiser. They jsut have different variations. SO the 4-runner there is called the LandCruiser Prado I think and so on and so on. Go to the main toyota.com website then about toyota and then toyota worldwide. Maybe you can find something there.

They sell so few Land Cruisers in the US I'm kinda surprised they haven't dropped the name. They do go for a lot of money, however, so they can make up in cost somewhat what they lack in volume.

the 2006 land cruiser's shape didn't changed here all that has changed are both the headlights and the taillights, and also they added the 4.2TD badge in the back wich older models didn't had, now i don't know if that is the same turbo diesel engine wich it was introduced with back in '98, i really don't think so, but it still has the same sound, wich is one of the best sounding turbo diesel engines i've ever heard, anyway here are some pics: http://www.supercarros.com/reg/do/us...%3d%26order%3d

4Runner/Hilux Surf
Tacoma/Hilux
Lexus GX/Toyota Prado
Lexus LX/Toyota LandCruiser Cygnus (Japan Only_

The LandCruiser 100 hasn't got a redesign yet. The LandCruisers in the Mid East got the same exterior changes as the rest of the world, headlight, grill, tailight, except the tailights for the middle east landcruiser have a orange turn signal, the mid east landcruisers carry the Toyota badge hood ornament, chromed out grill, and the many trim level grades. You can still get the new LandCruiser in 60/40 split rear doors, or tailgate, optional spare tires rack, 3 types of running boards, V8 matched to the 5spd manual is getting rare, although extremly popular, and a blast to drive (drove one, i should no).

The GX LandCruiser has cloth seats, the front seats dont get the armrest on the sides, 5speaker tape/cd, a/c, rear seats fold against the wall and face each other to carry more passengers instead of a row design, I-6 240hp 280lbs ft torque (auto optional), 60/40 rear side hindged doors are optional also.

The GX-R is a luxury version of the base. I-6 with auto or 5spd manual, wood grain, higher quality cloth seats, carpeted floor, manual adjusting driver seat, optional row or split rear seats, optional 60/40 rear doors.

VX is V8 powered with optional leather, wood grain standard, power adjust seats, 3rd row seat, optional 60/40 rear doors, heated seats optional, spare tire on the rear rack optional. Navigation optional, 8 speakers, A-Trac, VSC, EBD, BA, ABS...the works.

VX-R V8 standard leather, wood grain, altmeter if u dont option the navigation, 10way powered driver seat, 8 way passenger, armrest for front seats, 5spd auto and manual options, split 60/40 rear doors optional, spare tire rack optional, heated seats standard, A-Trac, VSC, EBD, BA, ABS...the works.

VX-R Limited. I dunno if u can still get these with the 5spd manual. But they have jacks that come down from the frame to raise the car during a flat tire, all the luxuries u can find in the US LX470, A-Trac, VSC, EBD, BA, ABS...the works. If you option for the tire rack, you get the 2nd spare tire and rim part of that package. You also get extreme sound deading in the VX-R models.

The middle eastern LandCruisers have all sorts of accesories that make your mouth water.

Land Cruiser Cygnus is not only in Japan, many people have it in Bangladesh. It's the LX 470 w/ factory lower body kit.

Actually...no. The body kit is an add on. The true Cygnus is just a rebadged LX470.
