I read this at walmart today(got bored) and it covers some of the up and coming possiblities for the next release of japanesse sports from toyota/lexus and some of the other manufactors. There is already a 07 supra thread but this coveres a little more:

It all reads like total bull shit.

Since we have already gathered from several sources that the Supra isn't coming back.... we can use that as our constant.

So.... Supra is not coming back.

They say... IS500 will share the same V8 powerplant as the new Supra. See above note.

The new NSX will have a V10.... and will cost between $70,000 - $100,000. How come the NSX with the V6 cost $90k... and now all of the sudden we are getting twice the motor for the same price.... all right! Plus I'm sure that V10 will allow it to keep all of its wonderful handling characteristics.

Is this the next RX-7? YES INDEED! The first non-rotary powered RX7. And a unique 3+1 seating layout??... how the hell do you get any action in a 3+1?

With the return of "American muscle"; Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, and the new American roadsters Solstice, Sky and possible Corvette Stingray, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. There are enthusiasts from both sides.

When they drop a V8 in there and charge upwards of 50k, it no longer competes with the 350z. Skyline is the more likely competitor.

Supra may come back but as its been stated in past threads

its likely to be renamed, also this article is almost the same as another article I read about 6 months ago about the same thing

only it had artist concept pictures but that can be just assumptions
