Edmunds are pro-Toyota, that is why six Toyotas are on the list. Not to mention Toyota does not have incentives or rebates.

The three Scions are on there because they automatically meet two of the three criteria (selling close to sticker without incentives), the two hybrids are under-produced and in high demand, and the RAV4 just came on sale and to strong critical acclaim. It would be hard to dispute that they did not meet the criteria: "Selling close to sticker price, having minimal incentives or rebates, and spending little time in dealer inventory before purchase."

But that means Toyota is good at producing cars that people want, price them right and at a rate to reduce overhead.
