Its possiblw with refreshment of most of the line up I could see it happening. I think another big grower might be DaimlerChrysler. Arent they close to the top 3?
As of the end of February It was GM, Ford, DCX, and Toyota respectively. I think the numbers they are talking about as far as big three are worldwide. Toyota and GM are fighting over world sales and production numbers. NOt just the US. Toyota has already said they are planning on producing somewhere inteh neghborhood of 9.1 million vehicles worlwide where GM is saying something like 8.9 million, give or take a couple of hundred thousand.

probably wait
the only reason they wanted to get hte Cmary out early was to go up against the New Sonata and the refreshed Accord. They didnt want to loose their number one position because they were offering an older version of the car.
The Highlander is not a top seller or anything like that so it can wait a little bit longer. Plus with the introduction of the new Camry, Tundra, Yaris, and the complete Lexus line almost I bet the engineers are about wore out.
Wont be long before they are offering a new Highlander, Sienna, and Corolla.
