What is the Toyota Touch Plan? It does not say its the Toyota employee plan, it says it's for employees of enrolled companies.

its for toyota corporate, manufacturing, etc. employees. read carefully, it says its similar to gm, ford, and chrysler employee benefit programs

No, the toyota employee program is not called that its the TMM Buy prgram....this is different. "The Toyota Touch Plan is a benefit plan designed by Toyota and your employer to save you time and hassle when buying a new Toyota. Only selected dealers will be able to honor your membership price.
Available only to the corporations and local government agencies who are participating, and, similar to the plans available to employees of General Motors and Ford, the Toyota Touch Plan allows you and your family members to buy a new Toyota at a pre-negotiated price not available to the public."

It says corporations and government agencies participating.

Weird. Toyota Touch in Canada has to do with the program at Dealers where they provide cosmetic care of your vehicle (cleaning, buffing, steamcleaning, etc)

Too bad TMS didn't stop to figure out that Toyota Canada used the name already. :doh:

I have bought through the Toyota Employee plan before and it is different. I dont know what this is.....

i think this is where if you work for certain companies, you can get a discount. kind of like the apple store has student discounts.

i know that at OSU (where i go to school), employees can get discounts on various things like i think IBM right now, Subaru's, GM's, etc. so i think it's that kind of thing

Hmmm....I know we have a discount through Dell....I dont know about car companies. I don't remember seeing anything about that. If they are not enrolled, how would they even become enrolled? Do they have to pay some sort of fee.
