Site is not trustworthy, they just make assumptions. The Camry Hybrid was out 2006 Spring, not fall. Also it sounds like Toyota will make another van with the Sienna name which would be smaller. The current model cannot be made into the hybrid because of room issues.

Curious? Why do you think ther is not enough room for a 4c+HSD system in the new Sienna model? It seems to fit nicely in the new TCH.
I think if they put the batteries in the back where the seats fold into, there shouldn't be any problem. The only thing is that a 4cly hybrid won't produce enough power for the current Sienna.
Using the TCH powertrain would make it a bit sluggish, but not too bad.
If they switch to the standard 4cyl instead of the lowered HP Atkinson cycle, that would make up part of the difference. Also we could put a larger electric motor in.
