just because some of us are less fortunate to live in a cities with riced out civics (so basically all of us) doesnt mean thats the main reason they sell good. Honda is always on top of their game with technology and its always new and fresh there (except for hybrids, toyota has that in the bag hands down) . The cars are always good looking and reasonably priced (the fit and the civic are the only reasonable priced ones). How could you turn down that kinda of deal, not to say that Toyota doesnt do the same. but yeah its funny that honda has 3cars in the top 20 (none acuras) and toyota has 8 (7 toyota, 1 lexus)! Shows that toyota still has the Price to Reliability game in their possesion..

plus toyota doesnt have much that is sport oriented anymore..=( i hope you can see where i am coming from on this topic and not hate.

why would you need to "research" a civic? what is it about it that people don't know about it?

Researching a car you want to buy would be a smart thing to do - I think that if you're gonna spend some big bucks, you absolutely cannot walk in 'knowing it all'.

thats true, but its just a civic not a space shuttle. you have to be living in a hole not to know its history/reputation.
