prolly took his camera and they made him disappear. If it lloks anything like those spy shots i'll go test drive one mabye bring it home. The one thing Toyota could do to make it better RWD.
Yeah I agree! I like it a lot! I like that gold color...I also like the dash interior trim, I like the design patterns on the steering wheel and dash and the speedo cluster is pretty cool. I'm sure a variation will show up on our shores...we'll see!

Don't know if that is the next Matrix. But the gold-coloured vehicle in the pictures will debute on the Paris Autoshow of this year as the Toyota Auris. First indications is that it will only appear on the JDM and EU market. Althrough it looks like the next Corolla, Toyota claims it is not. I think that the the Auris is the top-range (XRS) model. The lower grade models, which will be a little bit more dull, are sold as 'Corolla' or which name Toyota choose to give it (as Toyota claims to stop using the name Corolla in Europe). It could be that this model beeing sold as the Matrix in US. But the Auris is smaller then the Matrix, so i have my doubts. But then again. Why roadtesting it in the US?
One more thing. Compare these pics with the spy pics which start this topic.. ..they have allot of things in common (look at the small window at the side mirrors).
