Hey guys I caught a look at the '07 Tundra on Display, so I took some detail shots with my Camera. Sorry the quality isnt that great, my Camera sux. Anyway this looked like a Tundra D-Cab 4x4 and it was pretty dirty from people gettin all over it and traveling there I imagine, but still was pretty cool. So here it is...

Enjoy

Sorry guys, i was in such a rush to take the pix, that once i uploaded them to my PC i noticed that I didnt have a shot of the full truck. Part of the problem was that there were SO many people huddling all around it that it was tough to get a good shot of the whole truck.

anyway those shots will keep the hype cuz they are just detail shots....Truck didnt look much different than what is on Toyota's website, except for the fact that the Side mirrors on this truck were the Huge "towing" mirrors that stick out, with the turn signal....

The truck was on public display at the Nashville SuperSpeedway last weekend for the Toyota Tundra 200 Race.

^^^ well good effort for those pics, much appreciated. j/king about btw.

So how you liked the NCTS race that day? We know that Toyota won that round. I gotta ask: how was the crowd's reaction when the Tundra won the race? Was there any negativity from selected few, mainly the domestic fans?

Actually there were ALOT of TOYOTA Fans out there. It was pretty funny tho the entire race was pretty much Toyota at the front. It really seemed like it was just Toyota's racing each other, since the domestics were ususally toward the back of the pack....

There would have been more toyotas in the front, but on the final lap the top two toyota's knocked each other out of the race, leaving Toyotas behind them to take the race.

Either way Toyota is on top in NCTS....its crazy. No toyota went out of the race due to problems ,but a few domestics were forced to stop due to issues...

Is it just me, or does the interior seem very "plasticky"?

Maybe it's just the pictures, but the instrument panel, the HVAC, and shifter seem very cheap.

Usually Toyota does very well when designing that stuff...

It's not just you. You have to remember, it's a very early preproduction model. The wiring in the engine bay is exposed too.

It should improve as it nears actual production in a couple of months.

Yea well the Camera wasnt too good and the Truck is a Pre-production model as already stated. Some wiring was exposed and i noticed some parts were still not fully covered.
As for the interior, it didnt really look that cheap in person, looks pretty slick actually and materials felt ok, but I think it still might have issues as it is a pre-production model.
