When do these vehicles come out? I heard the Sienna & Highlander are getting the 2GR, is this true?

I heard the Sienna is coming out late December or January with the 3.5 i'm not sure about the Highlander though. As for the Land Cruiser don't know and the Prius theres new options and a new trim level avaible for 2007.
We have the 2007 Prius now. The new package is the Touring edition. The Highlander will be later this calendar year. The Sienna will be out in November or December and yes the Sienna and the Highlander both get the 3.5.

http://www.donlen.com/buildstart_toyota.asp The Sienna won't be coming out until January for it's initial delivery month. As for the Prius and Highlander it says they won't be out until October.
I found more information on Highlander, Sienna, and Prius... http://www.arifleet.com/pnews/2006/pn608.pdf
Highlander will have standarad side curtain airbags, Sienna will get new wheels and the engine, Prius of course everyone knows by now the Touring model.
As for the LandCruiser, Toyota is keeping that one under the sheets till its time to release it to the public. I just hope it retains its rear solid axle, and hopefully gain a SFA..probably not though. I hope its still tuned for offroading. Maybe improvements in under body armor?

The 07 Highlander is the last model year for this gen right? Obviously cause the Highlander is outdated or its showing its age, but still a nice car, since I see tons of them! Which is good!

Highlander is comming out 2nd quarter of 07. It will be an 08. I've seen it. It looks good. Very sleek. Reminded me a little bit of a smaller Nissan Armada, but much cleaner looking on the sides.

Sweet! Thanks for the info! I'm always intrigued in what you have to say cause I know you have the inside scope or I trust ya! Second quarter spring? Or is that summer? So I guess the 07 Highlander will have a short run? Thanks for the update and I can't wait to see the new Highlander!

This makes sense. The Highlander is the stepbrother to the Rx which is out now. In the same way that the ES doesn't intrude on the Camry the Highlander doesn't intrude on the Rx's launch.
