February 20, 2007 - Torrance, CA - Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today announced manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2007 Camry Hybrid 50th Anniversary Edition. The limited edition Camry Hybrid celebrates Toyota's 50 years of business in the United States.

This specially badged Camry Hybrid comes with features exclusive only to the 50th Anniversary Edition. Its stunning Blizzard Pearl paint, unique 16-inch alloy wheels with a graphite finish, and exterior "50th Anniversary Edition" badging are just some of the 50th Anniversary exclusives not available on any other Camry. A power moonroof and heated power outside mirrors are also standard.

Inside, the Camry Hybrid is equipped with a voice-activated DVD navigation system with a four-disc changer, leather-trimmed bisque-colored interior, heated front seats, and a carpeted cargo mat. Unique interior features include brushed stainless dash appliqué, illuminated front door sills, and carpeted floor mats with the "50th Anniversary Edition" logo.

Only 3,000 units will be built at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Kentucky. The 50th Anniversary Edition will carry a base manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $31,680 and will start arriving at Toyota dealerships in March.

50 years and this is how Yota celebrates?

How about a limited release AWD Camry, or a full-race spec Celica GTS?

instead its the Camry hybrid. Way to party Toyota!

i guess they're celebrating being more enviro friendly instead of cool looks and performance. kind of dissapointing.

Yeah, since SOME Toyota Camry's will be made at Subaru's Indiana plant, you would think they would at least THINK about coming out with an AWD model!

Btw, those rims are old school. I still wouldn't mind rollin' with those as 18" rims.

Don't the Hybrids come in 4-cylinders only with around 190 something horsepower? Should make the Anniversary Edition the V6 with Hybrid and equipped with TRD Bodykit(SE Model). How come the SE V6 models that comes with almost everything cost lesser than the XLE V6 models?

ehh.. not feeling the wheels. The other equipment isn't too bad I suppose. Illuminated door sill protectors are cool as the brushed stainless steel appliqué but other than that, it's just a loaded Camry Hybrid. Toyota, you need more than just that for 50 years! e.g. lift the HSD from the HiHy to get a 4wd Camry Hybrid V6 (dunno if there's space for the rear electric motor) or have a panoramic moonroof or something really really special and unique.
