That's funny, because I do typically get better mileage than the new rating indicates in my Camaro.

I also get better mileage on my 2003 Corolla, about 33 mpg combined, instead of 28 listed there. That's a hell of a difference.

And I like to floor it every now and then.

My 94 Corolla is now rated for 28MPG combined...no matter how hard I beat that thing, no matter how much I try, Ive never gotten it to go below 30MPG...

I guess the EPA is now adveraging the numbers out? With my car I usually get more than the rated EPA estimatesn and I have an automatic, so I think it can go both ways, some people get better some get the same and some get worst.

whohoo.. now I can say I always beat the EPA lol.

I've touched 55mpg once or twice... but now that it's 46mpg, I'm always above lol.
