Same applies to you, just swap "Toyota" with anything American.
You hate America so much... you're free to leave anytime.

They call themselves intelligent and general auto enthusiasts who are very fair yet all their posts are their opinions or facts coated with their opinions.

Some don't care about Toyotas at all yet they continue to exist here like pests and post essays all day long.

I just ignore them now. For somebody who has enough time in their life to continue writing MEANINGLESS/HATEFUL essays all day long, probably don't have a respectible job and/or a life at home with kids and family.

My auto passions in life and daily limited time are too important to waste on these kind of people.

I ignore them now and life is so much enjoyable now... LOL !

I recommend that you do the same...
I have noticed your absence, and I must stay, the dialog has been much more educational with you gone. . . . Thank you, honestly.

The ONLY people that hate CR and say it is dishonest are the die-hard domestic car lovers...they just can't face the truth.....IT HURTS!

The mostly Japanese cars that make the top 20 list is a BIG DEAL...and I don't know of one true car enthusiats that does not trust CR.

Pavel... in response to your statement above.
1) Where did I ever say that they were dishonest. I contend that there opinion is ill supported, poorly amassed, and based on less than objective evidence or techniques.

2) What makes you believe that I own a domestic. For that matter, please identify what a domestic is any more, when all the mfgs build / design in N.A.

3) AS for for a true car enthusiast that does not respect CR, well my son, you just met one.

Consumer Reports critique

Consumer Reports' secret formulas

After you've tested tens of thousands of cars over 70 years, you write back and tell us how easy it was, m'kay?

for all of you who bitch and complain about CR's methods, if u dont have another methodology that is widely accepted by the general public, then u dont have the right to complain. if u truly believe in your opinions, then take it up with CR. stop bitching about someone else's method of doing stuff if u arent going to do anything about it.

EVERYONE THAT BITCHES ABOUT SOMETHING BUT DOESNT HAVE THE GUTS OR SMARTS DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT ARE JUST TRASH TALKERS.

Also, the fact is: there are more domestic cars in junkyards than jdm cars. and the reason is for the past decades, american companies decided not to use Quality Control during manufacturing. They've only started using Quality Control Methods after they started loosing market share. and in terms of performance, yes, many american cars perform well vs. jdm cars, but when the general public people seriously contemplate buying a car, horse power and torque doesn't weigh as much as overall reliability

[edit] btw, this message is for people with really long posts with nothing but opinion.
