Well. back on topic. I dont think Chrysler will go by-bye. I think that if anything that waht will happen is our govt will bail them out jsut like they did in the late 70's and early 80's.

Ive gotta say over the last 10 years Chrysler is about the only company that has shown just about 0% improvement in theyre quality. It always amazes me the number of newer chrysler products that come in to the shop that have major problems. Some of them that are still under the 3 year 30K warranty. I dont really want them to go under but its just getting ridiculous. Im not saying theyre all crap, but the chances of getting a bad one are so high. I cant even remember how many 3-4 year old PT cruisers with 30-40K miles ive had to do freeze plugs on cause they just rott out and leak coolant. Oh well, maybe someone will buy them out eventually and improve them.

my opinion and personal experience leads me to believe that toyota is ahead of gm. my family is a toyota/GM famliy. we have more toyotas than chevys and have more problems with the GMs we've claim 2 lemon laws and multiple warrenties, the toyotas we've claimed 2 warrenties. so in my exp. toyota wins. but in cliff jones exp GM wins its not really about what you think is better, it is what your experiences are with the 2. judging from most post, most have no exp. with GM. they really arnt that bad.
and cliff jones there are close minded people yes... your always going to have that but if i go start post at the GM forums like you did hear i would have the same reaction you had.
in my opinion on the chrysler thing they'll be around but with more people wanting better quality and better gas milage, theyll be gone shortly if they dont do anything about this. and who ever said the BIG THREE HAD to be a AMERICIAN COMPANY, when chrysler slips out of the picture toyota will step up then. they are just letting other companies battle it out, so has GM but it look as though GM is gettin into it to.
and im not arguing im stateing my opinion
im not attacking either

Hopefully Magna will get Chrysler. At least, that company is N.A born and probably could keep Chrysler afloat through the tough times. But GM and Ford would have to have a say, since they're Magna's biggest customers.

Chrysler products are junk! They guzzle gas, they are for idiots that want big horsepower at the expense of massive gas bills, they lack reliability, durability, and are for idiots that never read ConsumerReports....Chrysler dies because it makes junk, and NOBODY can argue with it's horrible track record in sales...they are out of touch, and for customers that are out of touch, that refuse to see the high price of a gallon of gas....the smart $$, the informed buyer buys Japanese....It is patriotic and very AMERICAN to buy the best...to buy a Chrysler product is very UN-American....The UAW and Unions in general are killing off the domestic car industry....Unions are Socialism, and very bad for America, and all countries.

Sooooooooooo how do you back up your facts that Chryler products are junk. Hmmm Lets see there was a 1971 Cuda conv w/ a hemi that sold for over 2 million $$$ and how many Toyota's have sold for that. Oh I and I guess I am an idiot, I drive a 98 Dodge Ram.
My truck gets 19-20 mpg@ 75 mph and I have big tires on it as well. So, again where did you get your facts from? I am curious.

^im gettin 30 city and havent done highway yet and i have bigger tires to.
chrysler isnt junk it just needs to improve, they need to update and comeout with newer products. they do get bad gas mileage but what 2 or 3 worse than ford or gm, they are also one of the worse with customer service in the south
