What are you talking about? We still have the two big Oshawa Gm plants that builds their pickups and another soon to be converted for the new RWD Zeta platform cars (Camaro, Impala). Chrysler with their Brampton plant that builds the 300, Charger, Challenger, Imperial and Windsor plant that builds their Mini Vans and Pacifica. Ford with their Edge, and the soon to be called Flex (Fairline) crossover concept. Also, lets not forget Toyota with Corolla, Matrix, and RX350. Or Honda with Civic, MDX, Ridgeline and their plan for a new engine plant.

We look pretty fine to me. Don't bash when you dun no what your're talking about.

fan, I am quite disappointed in your superficial analysis. . . .I expect more from you. . .

RAV4= 2.44 posts per day (this does not even count the posts in "off topic" section, which I have never posted in)
me= 3.88 posts per day. . . . .hardly the 2:1 ratio your analysis shows. . . .are you in marketing?

Also, take a look at content. . . . while some posts look like (with a few sentence fragments thrown in for good measure. . . . .) , my posts actually have content and a POINT (what a novel idea).

Lastly, it seems that most of my posts here lately have been to rebut such superficial arguments like your's above. . . . Believe it or not, I would post considerably less (or never) if the information/posts here were actually factual. This is where you come in. Your a Toyota fan, so why are you not calling out fellow Toyota fans on false information, why leave it to an "outsider". Is it harmful you your agenda? Once again, hold your fellow Toyota fan to a higher standard and actually make this a place for REAL Toyota news (not just the good news that supports your agenda).

You've made it point to check my posts, but why are you not compelled to scrutinize others. . . .Who has the agenda?

So your agenda is to make sure people post "factual" information about Toyota on this board. Like your LA Times review?

So you also expect to post negative information on a Toyota board and get no replies?

I wouldn't waste my time on a GM board trying to slam thier company. Why do you take the time to care? I can only assume it's paid time.

Don't bother responding to this post. Everyone here knows you are a basher. So don't waste your time.

I've already told you my agenda when it comes to you.

Like I said, I'm not going to argue with a GM apologist, troll, and basher. I will however always point out that you are doing it.

About 2,000 jobs are expected to be cut from Chrysler's Ontario plants in Windsor and Brampton, according to published reports.
Windor Ontario plant is scheduled to close by 2008.
St. Thomas Ontario plant has had their shifts cut in half and is to be completely shut down by 2012.

Try not to breathe the air from your ass too much.

DougDangger, you should check if you still have one of your balls.

Where the flock do you see the Chrysler Windsor plant closing? They're the primary plant making the Caravan, Town&Country and Pacifica.

As for the St Thomas plant, there's a reason why I didn't say anything about it in my comment. They make the century old Crown Vic and Town Car, but Ford hadn't confirm that they will close the plant. Also, lets not forget the New Toyoda plant they're building for the Rav4 and possibly other Toyotas and adding thousands of new jobs that would compansate if the St Thomas plant were ever to go down.

Also, Gm is making some pretty nice products coming out, so thing should improve for them.

Ford's plant in Windsor is closing.

However, Chrysler's Windsor isn't looking so great.

The majority of Chrysler’s Canadian cuts — 1,300 — will come in Windsor, where Chrysler used to have car and truck assembly plants, engine and spring plants and a foundry. The car assembly remains, producing minivans and the related Pacifica crossover.

I know you get an orgasm everytime an American automaker closes down. However, if Toyota remain the ONLY auto maker on the planet, you will be stuck with whatever they sell you. There will be NO competition and competition brings innovation. I wouldn't be surprised if you are a liberal communist as to why you feel that way. Maybe you should stop whatever it is you're doing on your knees infront of Toyota's crotch and think a little.
