At my local dealer on Saturday, they only had 10 Tundras, 8 double cabs, and 2 regular cabs.
5 double cabs with the v6,
3 double cabs with the 4.7,
1 regular with the v6
1 regular with the 4.7

And all were either red or white in color, so it made me think that they probably haven't sold because of color and engine options. the double cabs with the v6, had MSRP ranging from $26K-28K. I think they are going to have a REALLY HARD time selling thoes.

Anyway my point being that they have obviously sold a lot of them because last time I looked at their inventory they had 30+

I thought the Toyota cheerleaders were going to kill me for questioning the success. of the new Tundra.

My guess is that your opinion doesn't matter. That's why no one replied.

It seems like the 5.7L Tundra is selling like hotcakes. The same is true for my TOYOTA dealer. 2 weeks ago they had like about 17 Tundras. Last time I drove by the dealer only 4 were left.

Same here...lots of 4.7's, which is BEGGING to be put in a Tacoma, but is just slightly underpowered for the 07 Tundras....

That'd be sweet. When would the next redesign (or refreshing) be for the Taco line? That'd be the perfect time to do a "transplant" upgrade

I believe a refreshing is due in 08....if Toyota follows the three year pattern they have done for the Tacomas....

It looks like TOYOTA is seriously thinking about adding the 4.7L engine to the TACO. I say it is about time the TACO gets some more beef. My only worry is that a V8 TACO might hurt TUNDRA sales.
