99.99999% of the so called guys who blog on this site wouldn't know road feel if it hit them in the back of the head. I don't know why all of these bitchy-assed trolls come out on every blog. For Christ's sake, it's a huge Luxury Sedan, not a G.D. sports car.
Tell you what, I'll take a new LS & race any of you little turds in whatever POS you drive & I'll blow your doors off.
I'm pretty sure it's mostlyb/c of technological advancements, fuel efficiency, safety, style, comfort etc.
I mean, look at a Jaguar XJ then look at the LS. You can't possibly tell me that the Jaguar doesn't have the interior that exudes luxury. Of course the strikes against the XJ are depreciation, reliability and so forth but like one of the comments said, you can't build a car for everyone. Everyone has different tastes.
imo, if I wanted pure luxury, I'd take the Jag (can't argue with california walnut and lambswool rug)
if I wanted fuel efficiency and reliability, I'd take the LS hands down
if I wanted an autobahn bruiser, the S55AMG is up there.
Different reasons, all legit.

Yea but I'm sure when the Saturn Aura!?? won the (GM rigged for 2007?) "North American Car of the Year," that was an exciting moment.
and if you look on how its baised you would see why it won...
a car is elected for the award baised off of previous competition.. it must be significantly different or completly new to compete..
the saturn aura replaced the L300 adn whatnot.. that is more than enough said.. it was a VAST VAST VAST IMPROVEMENT over its predicesor.. if you look at it from THAT perspective as all the journalists did then you would see WHY it won.. but hey its a bias bored isint it..
this comes from a genuine toyota fan so dont question me on this bs.. i just dont play fanboy crap like some of the above posters.. yes ill call u all idiots for that..
now ON TOPIC:
yes the ls should win with ease.. it was greatly improved in every dept. over its predicesor... and to top it. it will hold its value, be more comfortable (to me) and is quick on its feet.. we can only hope what the F versions will bring out in the future (hint is-f, GS-f LS-F)

Its not a Corvette so Doug is dissapointed. TravisAe86 what were you thinking posting pro-Toyota stuff on a Toyota board? Don't you know that means that you're a blind fanboy?
Anyway great article. The LS is a good value for a luxury car compared to its German rivals.
