and this is news to who??? i knew that the LS600h was going to be very close to 100K. Its nothing new to me. I would buy the car if I had the money! Its worth it...every bit of it. Also one sad at the rear passanger seat of teh LS460-L - its the car worth pursuing when set in life.

?
with the exception of the Highlander hybrid - same output as the RX400h

Putting a smaller engine in the car isn't automatically making it more feul efficient. Most of the times it will be. But you need a certain amount of power to move a certain amount of weight. When you put a too small engine in (thus less power) that engine has to work a lot harder (more throttle/revs) to move the car around and therefore is going to use a lot more feul.

$104, 000 sounds about right for this car. I mean, Lexus is using their top of the line model, the "L" which includes all options plus more and a hybrid powertrain. It's actually a good price. But for $104,000 I rather buy a Maserati Gran Turismo. Theoretically speaking of course.

Not an M5? haha.

Yeah, I wonder why they'd rather not sell the LS600h. Maybe they do just want the LS600h L as their flagship model. Sort of like do you want the Executive Package or not. Do you want the hybrid system + awd or not.

This is one of those cars I'd rather be driven in ( with the executive seating) than driving myself to fully appreciate.
