2008 EPA ratings posted/Toyota holds 5 out of top 10 spots
The EPA has released the complete listing of fuel mileage estimates and Toyotas make up half of the top ten list, with corolla and yaris beating out some hybrids.
That's pretty good for the FEH and its siblings. I just wonder why they don't sell a lot of them (can't be the price, they're fairly reasonable up here in Canada).

Well, I guess apparently Toyota's aren't reliable anymore but hey you still get the fuel effeciency! At least Toyota is good at something!

I find it amazing that only two cars get better that 40mpg combined, and none of them aren't hybrids. Also strange is the fact that the highest rated non-hybrid gets only 32 mpg combined.
Just like how the "economical" 1.6 litre Aveo gets worse mileage than it's bigger brother the Aerio (dunno about the SX4).
I don't think the Aerio is related to the Aveo, unless they are the same platform but I think the Aerio is a bigger car if I'm not mistaken. Plus I think its all Suzuki no re-badged Korean crap...er car.
Although I could be wrong.

I don't think that the Aveo vs. the Aerio is a good comparison. The Chevrolet Aveo (and its twin, the Suzuki Swift+) is a re-badged version of a Korean, Daewoo-built car, and the Aerio and the SX4 are Japanese, Suzuki-built vehicles. From the information that I have seen, Korean car engines still cannot match Japanese car engines for fuel efficiency.

Nope, they're not related. I just mean "brother" loosely (through the Swift+). And like Sulu said, it's a Daewoo Lanos/Matiz

Yeah... but the marketers don't tell you that. They just say "well it's a small car with a small engine so it's good on gas" and unless you actually look, the average person will be fooled into thinking that.
