2013 Lexus ES Grabs NHTSA Five-Star Rating

The 2013 Lexus ES is the latest car to garner a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

NHTSA composes its overall score of three crash tests: frontal, side and rollover. The new ES scored five stars — the maximum — in both frontal and side tests and earned four stars in the rollover category. Still, that’s enough to deliver an overall five-star rating for the Japanese brand’s entry level luxury sedan.
