I saw that picture over a year ago, but nothing became of it. Toyota definitely is working on some performance cars, but none of them will be a Supra. That is for sure. Supra is gone forever. Toyota will be doing what BMW has done for years and built it's entire reputation around, which is manufacturing sport sedans and coupes.

$50,000 is a nice price for a car like that. Compared to other Sports models. The Z06, $60k. The Viper, $70k. Shit, that's a price of a normal Vette. And people buy those all the time.

The rumors concerning that concept was that it was to compete with the 350z so pricing was going to be around the 30-40k range. That's not too bad at all. Of course who knows if it will ever come out.

I think Toyota will bring this one out to compete in a luxury sports coupe market. The feeling I get is that this new one won't be as good as the previous model Supra though. I bet it's going to be more a luxury coupe more than a sports car just like the 350Z. The 350Z doesn't feel the same as the previous 300ZX. It's more luxurious & less sporty.
if toyota bring out the Lexus 3500GT (supra replacement as rumored)..then that a big slap in teh face...one thing, US discontinued supra cus it was expensive..now to bring another MORE expensive car in the lexus badging is asking for trouble.
