This new rule about you can only edit 5 min after your post is rediculous. If you say something stupid, you cant delete or change it. Or if you say something incorrect you cannot change it to the correct stuff.
The administrator has specified that you can only edit messages for 5 minutes after you have posted. This limit has expired, so you must contact the administrator to make alterations on your message.

What is the point of this rule?
It's not that rediculous if you thnk about it. But I can understand what you're saying.
The reason behind is so that people cannot go back after an unreasonable amout of time to delete or edit what they said after the fact.
You have to take responsibility for what you post. The main reasons for editing are for spelling/grammar mistakes and correcting URL's. Both of these are usually done within a reasonable amount of time after someone posts.
I raised it to 20 mins to hopefully address your concern.

Why did you say something stupid in the first place? That's why you think twice before you click "submit reply" button.
And wouldn't this rule kind of add to whorage? A good example i remember is Ric 'n' Sovs. They were selling/parting out and they instead of updating the parts/pics in a new post they did it on the first page. And wrote in big red letters, "Updated"
i agree with no time limit for editing, sure its good for people owning up to things they say (i for one am gonna have to watch myself) but i always nag people about using the edit button instead of submiting a new post (if there have been no replies)
