Team forums

Maybe we could Add team sub forums? I know there are a few team on here. They could arrange meets and exchange info and updates in them. We could put it under general maybe? Not sure where it would go. But then they wouldn't need to post and worry about it getting lost in the other ones. People could just go to the team forum for updates

Kidna makes sense. Like on MR2OC how they have regional forums... I know Ratko is on there... maybe you could take a looksee at that . I think if we broke up meetings and events into something like that it would work quite well

It would keep team meets seperate, and then general meets could be posted in the meet section.

It would be a nice benifit for those forming teams. And I'm sure there will be some more coming up as people start to fine tune their cars

Mike, what exactly do you mean by "team forums"? Kinda like a forum for "Team Hamster" and whatelse? We don't really have "teams" here.

I personally never liked the idea of specific regional sub-forums. What tends to happen is ppl start to only post general topics in their regional forums. The only purpose I see for regional forums is for meetings. You can do this today in the meet section.

but it'll make those of us that are on teams to feel special

I would be for it. This way a team can start a thread up of say an event that their going to and those that are on the team can chat there and discuss what the team is gonna do rather than have some people post whore on it. (even though it might happen anyway )

Team Hampster. I know Yukio's team 13 Devils (is that right?) has one or two members on the board. Team Redline (East coast team) is starting up. And any others that may form as time goes along ( I know SC's Grass Roots team will grow as we find more people fit to be on it )

It wouldn't really be regional. I entirely understand how division could happen then. And we don't want that.

It could be done one of two ways... We could have a subforum called "Teams." And within it have a forum for each team (teams would have to apply for a forum. Maybe have a minimum member qualification or something along those lines).

Or, we could have a single forum called "Teams", and all of the teams would just post in that.

But if you guys aren't feelin' it, that's cool. Just tossing the idea out there
