Okay, I know we here don't like Street Racing(even the the majority of us still do it) but I really think it sucks nuts that we have go all NAZI police on anyone that mentions it. I want to see the video that was posted below. I mean locking the thread is one thing but erasing the link to the video? That's pure bull$hit.
Tons of street racing videos have been posted on here before and the thread was never locked. And when Tony the Tiger posts his videos of him playing around on the street, his threads never get locked. And he is(or at least was) a known Street Racer. And his threads with the Camry kicking @ss on the street stayed open also.
Anyway, that has always bothered me. I think the double standard on this board regarding Street Racing is lame and I have to give it the thumbs down. People are gonna Mess around anyway, and they are gonna post the videos if they are noteworthy. As long as this board does not Endorse this behavior or pretend that it is acceptable, I think leaving the thread open should be allowed. And if nothing else, lock it but don't erase the friggin link of a relatively safe street race. That is just being a dick.
Thank you. That is all I have to say and I would appreciate it if someone could repost the vid so I can see the Camry kick the Lincolns @ss.

Not mention Alex and his 3sgte Camry vid. Like I said, it's a double standard and sometimes, a few of the mods get a little power mad. Not to mention all the other members that jump in to back them all up. Get's to be a little much sometimes.
Either delete/lock every single thread that even hints to breaking laws on the street or be a little more realistic and just don't promote it as long as it isn't harming anyone. just my 02 cent as a memebr of this board since the beginning.

Nick:
street racing is for ***s, TN dosen't support it, take it to the track...
Not to bash, but those are harsh and much inappropriate(sp?) words to be used. I would give anyone else shit for it to.
And if anyone else is like myself, the nearest track is a 4 hour drive. Kind of hard to take it there. Even more when they only have open racing once a month.
However I don't street race. Straight lines are boring, I Auto-X

So the mods can move this but they can't respond? And the guy who originally posted the video probably will not see the thread now since it's not in the Cmary forum and the title doesn't even make any sense now.
I am gonna PM him for a link to the video and then post it.

Its not fair to shut down one thread and remove a video, while you let someone else post a video and then !!!3 MODS!!! actually compliment him for the video.
I agree with Tailsman, either every thread mentioning something with questionable legality needs to be closed and deleted, or you guys need to chill out.

Having vids posted on your forum about street racing will not get you guys into any trouble. The local club around here has racing vids all over their forums, but they have a sticky kinda like a disclaimer saying that they aren't associated with racing, and they aren't responsible for heat bags showing up at their meets. That should cover your back if cops are reading the boards.
You have to admit, some of the coolest vids out there are related to street racing... Doesn't mean there's going to be 50 cars racing around toronto with toyotanation stickers.
