I'm gonna say it before anyone else does....

why?

Not to mention bandwidth suckage and it would turn every page into a huge clusterfuck of pictures. Pretty much read the animated sigs page and you will get your answer

Cause they are so awesome. And not to mention funny. But fine, I don't get a animated avatar.

I do know of a forum who lets you have animated avatars but no sigs. And it doesn't run too slow. Also not everyone has a avatar.

It's hardly an avatar. It's huge. And we already said no animations. And I'll tell you right now, they're going to say no. They would have to adjust all the frames of the forum. It would cause the page to be wider than your screen, or look horrible. Now I'm mearly laughing at your ignorance. Give it up already.

And I have never seen a real avatar larger than 80x80. That's no longer an avatar.

You've just been

Also....

Fatty drummer is 80kb
Hump man is 20kb (thats okay)
Kick the kid is 283kb!!!!!!

One of those being over 5x the allowed signature size makes it a little unfeasable.

Ya... i realize that. My point was that if the sigs can only be 50kb... what makes you think that a 300kb avatar would not kill the dialup folk.
