A 'quick search' function on the top of each page (have the existing search as an 'advanced search function') this would be much like the one at the bottom of each individual forum but would search the whole site (you could refrence what your looking at)
And be able to type a single letter or digit - ie/ Gen 2 or even a button that will search each forum for a particular generation, so in the camry forum at the bottom of the page have like a quick reference for Gen 1 , Gen2 and so on-
Just ideas though, roast me if you think im lazy but realy just wanna help

It just seems like another search button would clutter the place. We alread have the google search, and that takes up a good amount of space. Load time on the search screen isn't that long. People should be able to sufice without a quick search.

how about a search button to search within a THREAD...?
i use the search button, but when i find the thread, it sends me to the 1st page of it...
and sometimes what i want to find is in the page 9 out of 12, but i wouldnt know, because the search results only bring up the thread, it doesnt direct you to the exact page, and part of the thread you were looking for...
at least it doesnt with me, i dont know if this has happened to anyone else..
