Ok well, now that we can change the custom user text, I assumed avatar problems had been fixed, so I deleted my avatar and wanted to put a new one. But after I clicked do not use avatar, deleting my old one, I can't find a way to upload a new one.
Yeah I did the same thing...??? No idea what to do?

Those of you who have avatars now and are regular members can remove your avatars, but you cannot change them or add new ones. So i suggest if you like your current one, you not touch it
However if you want full access to an avatar, along with much more things like the ability to use attachments again (like back in the day) then consider taking a look at the supreme membership program : http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/supreme.html
i tryed to switch my avatar before this new supreme membership came out...if i knew it was going be like this i wouldnt of touched it....dont get me as a b***** but i kinda think its ...and one question...where dose this money from this supreme memberhip got to..????..???? and if its just so we dont have pople whoreing the threads how about all new membes must have paid emial...not like hotmail so u cogeco or rogers..????

It goes to keeping the forum running. Server space costs money. Along withpaying for their high-speed connections to run the server off, and use of vBulletin (which cost money yearly).
It also pays for all the requests we have been making in this section. And will help pay for further merch to come, like hats
However i do think it is pretty unfair to take away things we previously had and make us have to pay for them now. I think we should still be able to use avatars.

I already PM'd Ukrainian102 about this, if you deleted your avatar before the new paid subscription system came out by mistake, i will re-add it for you if you can PM me with a link to where I can find it.
We actually had a discussion in this forum about this a few months ago (upgrades...) and almost all the users who replied thought it was a good idea and worth paying for, so we listened.
Things that werent possible before because of bandwidth costs will now be on their way... members pages, user-uploadable gallery, maybe even the TN radio that we talked about.

oh, and ae86polishman, to answer you question, the money goes to paying for the server costs, the forum software costs, the cost of getting stickers and shirts made in advance for everyone, and most importantly, the cost of bandwidth. avatars are one of the largest strains on bandwidth, so its only fair that we have some kind of system in place that will accomodate those costs as we grow. we never asked for a penny from TN members, and we still arent. we are just giving people an option to have many extra benefits with their user account for a very fair price.
in fact, the yearly membership really comes out to $16/year if you factor in the value of the stickers, which basically means it costs you a tad less than $1.35 /month for all the extra features.
