How about a limit on the number of posts in a 24hour period for ppl with less than 100posts??
Say...a max of 2 to 5 posts.

Any suggestions..comments?

Gees...just a suggestion guys.
Thought it might be like a trial period. So ppl can't just come in and post to there hearts content.
It's like they have to prove that there willing to share info on the forum before being alowed the full priveledge.

Anyways..nevermind.

don't worry jetspeed...i'm with ya on this one...i've always though noobs should not even be allowed to post for a day or so at least..make them do some searching and reading before they are even alllowed to post....this would eliminate trolls and one post wonders.....

^^if that happens, we should set up some FAQ threads like the DSM forums that explain basic stuff that most noobs ask:

Potential Engine Swaps
How to properly boost
Headlight modification/Fog light installation
And other things like it, in a separate section dedicated only to FAQs or in the "Go Here First" section, with the threads locked. While the Ultimate FAQ threads in the individual forums are great, most people never look at them until one of the mods or admins post the link in the thread asking the noob question

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/

if you want an example - its on the front page
