Search capped 1 every 10 secs??

I was doing some seaches on seafoam and noticed that you can only do 1 search per 10 seconds...out of curiosity...WHY?

Depending on the complexity of the search query, it can get very intensive on the server's load especially when there are over half a million posts in the database.

Do you think 10 secs is unfair?

nah...the only reason I found it is because I had a typo "sea foam" instead of "seafoam" and hit the back button and retyped it. I *highly* doubt this would come up under normal searching methods.

Every forum has the same rule.

TN now is in the top forums I normally visit compaired to people online at one time. Most larger forums will limit the search per 30-45 seconds. So TN is better than most.
