How about making posts in the supreme forums worth more than the other forums (1 post in supreme = 2 posts in post count, for example)? Could boost subscriptions.
Post count tends to reflect how much more you know (when it comes to newer members). And there is a little bit of seniority in it. Members with higher post counts have usually been here longer, or are very well versed in car knowledge

thats kinda unfair cuz not all of us need supreme.....like me i have no point in being one ...and also.....it just kinda pointless cuz how about u give some one 2 post if the dont have any spelling errors.....its just point less......in my case
no one really needs to be supreme, its just to help out TN and you get to say your supreme, and even if you got 2 post for the ones without any errors, you still wouldnt get 2 post...

Seniority I can buy...but knowledge? Come on man, you seriously believe that dictates intelligence? I don't buy it...no way, no how. To me a high post count means:
1) Been here awhile.
2) Found TN before most (see #1)
3) *potentially* employed by TN.
4) Whores it up with comments like "nice car", " ", " ", etc.
5) Whored OT before it went "no count"
6) Has the time to actually type up/share what they know (yes, there are smart people who are very busy).....etc, etc.
I am a bit disappointed in that comment though...but what are you gonna do "Member since" carries more weight with me...seniority wise.

Nicely said.
I believe in quality of posts, over quantity.

Posts in OT don't count for a number of reasons. I won't go into what they are, but you can thank all the post whores for this.

I'm just making an observation. If you look at the top 30 posters. Almost 95% them all know their shit really well. There are only a few people who got there by whoring. Most of which was done before OT didn't count. So based on that evidence, I still believe in my statement.

I thought of one more...(that I think contributes to high post count but doesn't indicate a presence of knowledge)
7) Welcome to TN, Welcome to TN, Welcome to TN I couldn't care less about these people's whoring in the welcome forum but I think people should use some discretion (like, if they see that a person is from their home town, or a particular region drop 'em a welcome...otherwise let someone else do it.)
