that was the logic behind it. the toyota models and technical info comes first, then the more socializing and non-technical stuff comes second. makes sense no?

It's always the same story whenever there's a change. You guys didnt even like it when we switched the forum to vBulletin! I'm positive that you guys would be up in arms if we went back to phpBB! The point is, I know you guys are used to the setup being the way it was, but just because it was the original setup didn't make it the logical setup, or the smartest setup.
For example... before the layout was as follows:
- RULES + INTRO FORUM
- TN FORUMS (MEETS, TOYOTA NEWS, GENERAL DISC, OT, AUDIO, PICS, AND SITE FORUM)
- SUPREME FORUMS
- TOYOTA DIVISION FORUMS (LEXUS, SCION, TRUCKS, ETC)
- TOYOTA MODELS FORUM (CAMRY, COROLLA, CELICA, MR2, ETC)
- COMMERCE FORUMS
now the new structure is:
- RULES + INTRO FORUM
- TOYOTA MODELS FORUM (CAMRY, COROLLA, CELICA, MR2, ETC)
- TOYOTA DIVISION FORUMS (LEXUS, SCION, TRUCKS, ETC)
- SUPREME FORUMS
- TN FORUMS (MEETS, TOYOTA NEWS, GENERAL DISC, OT, AUDIO, PICS, AND SITE FORUM)
- COMMERCE FORUMS
This way, we start off with the rules and introductions, then we move into the Technical information and model specific forums (which I suggest is the main reason people come to TN in the first place), followed by the toyota divisions which is pretty much a continuation of the technical info. Then we move into the more TN-specific community forums found in Supreme and meets, and OT and all the fun stuff like that.
If you disagree with me I'd be happy to hear your viewpoint...
Well I don't like it, but it does notify new members of the rules, but if you can post porn, and not having sware words blocked, then what rules are there?

I've been here for... I dunno.... two years or so. So yea.... it is definately messing with how I surf.... but it makes 1000x more sense this way.
1st - Vendors... they are a big part of what keep us running, and they PAY to be up there.
2nd - Rules... first thing to catch new people's eye
3rd - THE TOYOTAS!!!.... we are Toyotanation
4th - The other Toyotas.... we're still Toyotanation
5th - Supreme.... we pay too bitches
6th - The rest of the stuff.... OT is a huge part of the forum. But it is still OFF TOPIC. All of the shit that doesn't really apply to the main point of the forum shouldn't be at the top of the page.
7th - Commerce.... i dunno, seemed like a good spot to me
8th - USENET groups.... those are some crazy bitches.... keep em down there
I know you guys will find a way to get to your porn without scrolling WAYY down that page.
Since things are getting re-arranged, maybe the Toyota News forum should be put up higher as well, and rename the model specific area Toyota News and Model Forums
Confusing, but I'll get used to it. I'm sure it's a better setup for new users. It will probably bring more common users to the forums... as the setup will be familiar (with other forums).
I generally don't like change, but this one makes sense. As for all of ya that are complaining about having to 'go down' for your porn, well, insert smart-alicky line here. Maybe if you guys went down more often, we'd have more females around these parts. lol.
