300 is the total amount of characters that can be used for a sig. Without counting all the characters either by using the cursor or opening up a wordprocessor that'll do it, how about adding one onto the site for anything that has a minimum or maximum character requirement?

kinda like i've seen on other web sites that every time u hit a letter or space or something it counts down one and then when it reaches zero, it prevents you from typing anything else...
