I see people here sometimes write secret messages in their posts, but they aren't really secret since
they're written in white. As you can see, white still sticks out, so I started playing around with ways to write invisibly.
[color=white]After a few minutes of experimenting, I realized that you can use [color=#F0F0F0] instead of
. Compare this paragraph with the next one for reference...
[color=#F0F0F0]"#FFFFFF" is a way to determine a character's color. You can go from #000000 (black) to #FFFFFF (white). Fortunately, #F0F0F0 creates a color that resembles TN's background, so the text written with [color=#F0F0F0] looks invisible. You can use this instead of
if you want to type something secret (like a spoiler when talking about a movie, or when explaining a "dirty" joke.) If you want people to find your message, try putting * marks at both ends of the paragraph. I purposely didn't just so you could try and find the message (the blank space in my post probably gave it away.)
Other points of reference:
This is #FF0000.
This is #00FF00.
This is #0000FF.
This is #FFFF00.
This is #FF00FF.
This is #00FFFF.
More info:
The first two numbers represent red; the second green; the last blue. F0 is larger than 99, and F1 is larger than F0 etc. Also, FF is larger than F9. The larger the number, the brighter that section of the color is. So:
#007700 is darker than #00FF00. You can also use anything lower than F, such as
#00DD00.
Experiment, and you'll no longer feel like you're limited to "just" worded colors. I had to let you guys know what I found out as soon as I could. Some of you probably know about this already, but for those who don't, well, now you know!
