I don't know much about the IHI turbos as far as specs go, but their good turbos.
You can find all kinds of turbos at junkyards. Garrett/AiResearch (T3), IHI (Ishi Warner), KKK, Mitsubishi (TD04H , TD05H), Toyota (CT26, CT20), Volvo, etc...
Just make sure theres no play in the shaft, the compressor and turbine wheel spins fine, no signs of oil leakage, compressor and turbine wheels are in good shape (no signs of damage), and no cracks in the housings (sometimes the turbine housing is cracked).
Most of the turbos i've seen on B18B / B18C are Garrett T04/T3 hybrids, but they usually just buy a kit (Drag turbo kit or something).
