Depends on how you drive your car and how many kilometers you put on it..
The spark plugs affect your fuel cosumption, because it's where the spark comes from, and if your spark plugs aren't working properly obviously you won't be burning the mount of fuel you should be!?
That's the way I look at it, so I change mine every 6 months.. Sometimes the old spark plugs are ok, and soemtimes they're solid black!!
Like I said, depends on you driving..
