I’ve got a problem and would find some help here.
I’m going to blow one 1,5 liter engine and I must find suitable turbocharger. The idea is: to build a gasoline engine with a disiel character. I don’t wont “turn” it up to 3000 or 4000 rpm to reach the peak of a pressure, so I need a turbocharger which could give me pressure about 0,7 bar at 5 lb/min air flow ( it corresponds to 2000 rpm). Garrett GT12 is suitable for this purpose, but it is very rare and expensive here in Moscow. KKK K03 looks good too. Mitsubishi TD025 seems suitable, but I haven`t got its compressor map to be completely sure… Has anybody compressor flow maps of Toyota`s or IHI turbochargers? I would be very-very grateful for helping me…
