Whats up guys, i know i said i was going to post pics soon of my car when i lowered it, but its been raining in charlotte non-stop for a week and it finally stopped yesterday.
First off when i lowered the car i had some promblems like everybody else, as soon as i hit a small bump in the road i would hear a popping sound in the back, well that was an easy fix because all i had to do was decompress the spring in the back, the spring was wound up to tight so everytime i hit a bump there was no cushion so i decompressed it 3 inches and it only lowered my car about a quarter of an inch, yeah it was tight. over all the car is lowered about 2.25 inches all the way around.
Second, as soon as i decompressed the spring the popping noise went away but i was rubbing like hell, the inside of my left rear tire was rubbing on the coilover, so to fix that i loosened the two bolts that hold the brake drum on the coilover and i pushed the brake drum as far from the coilover as i could and then bolted it back, so now its not rubbing anymore. Then as soon as i fixed that everytime i hit a pretty descent size dip in the road my fender would scrape against my tires in the rear, so i had to ROLL MY FENDERS!!! so now i dont rub anymore anywhere!!!
And last but not least i got my car aligned. the alignment was FU#KE@. in the rear i had positive camber and the toe was positive, so i got the camber in the back negative and its set at -.56 thats the closest i could get it with the camber plates, and the toe is back to stock. in the front all i had to do was adjust my camber, it was at -2.16 so i got both of them to -1.10 and its pretty close to stock so i wont be wearing my tires. Also i removed my pinstripping, yeah i know its off topic but i thuoght id mention it to ya.
K-sport Impressions: These coilovers are freaking awesome and im loving the stiffness. Right now there set at all the way soft for my "breaking in" period and its still pretty damn stiff. i would not recommend these to a daily driver, im using my car as a daily driver but i like the uncomfortable stiffness, so if you like it too then go for it

. so anyways enough of me talking, here are the pics, enjoy and tell me what ya think....
