hey guys...buddys Mk3 supra

hey just thought id share,,,..

my buddy picked this up yesterday....ran good till a rad hose exploded...but its fixed now...

he join toronto supra , but iam trying to get him to join here too...but al i can say..this car is so nice....picked it up for 5000

I'd hit it, but be careful about the exploding hose.



Exhaust gases mixing in with coolant due to a blown head gasket can cause the stuff to become acidic, thus mucking with your hoses. Be careful.

ya its a turbo and its running at 16psi....not sure if thats stock....its lowerd on hks shocks. and not sure about springs..

oh when it was rebuild the guy used dexcool instead of the noraml green shit....so its not acidic


bad news the car dosnt want to start...it ran yesterday and today it kept dieng when he gives it gas slowely.....iam not sure what it can be

and ifs running good im coming on the 29 meet

I heard that DexCool is slightly acidic, that's how it controls corrosion. Don't quote me on it, though.

DexCool is verry corrosive even more so than the green goo but only if there is air in the system, also if you need A flush they need to use a special aditive thats kinda like acid to clean all the crap out. personally I'll stick with green. just my 2 cents
