i don't have any pics - but the guy that did my turbo - carl crawford of www.speed-source.net recently just finished swapping a JDM 2JZ-GTE into his lexus gs400... car is SICK

Yeah....So I dont really see why it's such a big deal.....But I did hear from Yukio that a 2jz on the IS is hard to turbo due to the vvti. You have to get a standalone system...

And anyways, a 2jz BMW is retarded. Boo to whoever did it.

yes, 1JZ-GTE is 2.5liter and 2JZ-GTE is 3.0liter, both are from Supra...

1JZ-GTE was also used in the Mark II, Chaser, Cresta, Verossa (the last three now dead, and the Mark X now using the GR V6) - the JDM chassis mates to the Cressida. And it appears in the Toyota Soarer (Lexus SC), as well.

What's pictured in the BMW is the earlier version, with a parallel twin turbo setup. Later 1JZ's had one larger turbo and VVT-i.
