My New Bucket!

So I've finally gotten my self another car. My old trusty gen3 just bacame too much a bear, due to transmission problems (275k original miles!), my windows being busted, Alpine CDA-1005 head unit stolen, having my front passenger side strut be blown, bald @$$ tires, and a whole variety of other problems that wasn't worth it to repair/replace. I was using my step-dad's Ford Astrovan for a while (which kinda sucked...but was kinda pimp at the same time ) Anyway...out with the old..

And in with the new:

I got myself a 2001 Land Rover Discovery Series II w/ a 2 1/2 inch lift, OME Nitrocharger shocks front/rear, roof rack, SafariGard rock sliders, and an Alpine CDA-9535

I know, I know...what kind of idiot gets himself a V8 SUV with these gas prices...relax, its not my daily driver...I also have a 1997 Camry LE (which, of course, I'm planning on doing up too hehe) for those everyday duties I don't have pics of that yet.

My bud in law school has a '95 LR Disco and he shoots himself foot everyday for it. but then again, he doesn't own a camry as well.

Nice ride...I always liked that body style (very safari'ish)

That was a nice looking camry you had there and a nice Discovery you have now. I've always preferred the discovery over the range rover for some reason.

GOod thing it is not your daily driver, not only for gas prices but repair costs and frequency.I worked with a guy whose wife drove one and he said brakes were $1000.00 dollars every year to year and half.

I love Discoverys. They're off-roading beasts! third to the Old LandCruisers and the Hummers.

Out of all the Land Rovers, I'd pick the Defenders anyday. Those off-roaders are badass.
