Accidentally drove through Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo set
I was driving through down town LA when I noticed that the signs and stores started to look like Japan. Then I looked at these large parking lots and saw Japanese Taxis and such. Then it dawned on me... it's the F&F set! Many of my friends vehicles are in the movie and they told me that they're there. So, one of my friends took pics including some damaged vehicles.
I will stop by Downtown and take some pics of the set later this weekend.

Movie magic... on top of that it's going to be during night time. Believe it or not, they've done a very good job simulating a lot of Japanese Streets.

Any chance of seeing a bomex camry as an extra in the movie?
I helped out a little getting some cars casted for the movie... didn't care too much. Tried to get my work's S15 in the movie but it had to be at SEMA and we didn't want to risk getting it hurt.
Anyways, I was offered to have my car in the background but I declined. Trust me, you won't see some shitty cars in the background. No Cavaliers or Sunfires... just a bunch of NICE JDM cars. They paid extra to have RHD drive cars in the background. This movie is going to be really authentic. Trust me.

Oh and BTW, all of those cars (even the damaged ones) are RHD. So sad... so sad... expensive wheels, authentic body kits (TOP SECRET and VEILSIDE) are smashed. Those orange and black RX-7's are sporting the Veilside Fortune Body kits... get this... retails for $10,000.00.

What do they do with the undamaged stuff like the other 3 rims and such of the cars.. and other parts of the body kit
They crush them or throw them away.
