thats what I thought too from those pics, but the video sure sounds like a V8

Well, you guys have to realize that there is a lot of editing that goes into filming. What the stunt drivers were probably told was to spin out so that the mustang can take the inner line. That's all.

BTW, the mustang is the "hero" car.
