My 2000 JDM Toyota Corolla Sedan

Hey guys!!! Here is my 2000 Corolla sedan. Its a JDM car that was imported from Japan as is common practice here in Jamaica.I bought it last year from a used car dealer. When I got the car it had been sitting on the wharf for a while and the starter was all corroded. The car was also kinda dirty. All thats been sorted now of course and she runs great. My car has a 5AFE engine which means it has prolly about 100 hp.Its displacement is 1500ccs or thereabouts(1495 or 1498cc).It has a 4 speed automatic tranny, power steering, windows, locks, cassette, cd radio, cloth trim.My car is an XE Saloon Limited and features driver and passenger side airbags plus ABS.It currently has discs at the front and drums at the rear. This will change soon Its a really nice car and Im loving it I must say.It has run trouble free and I expect it to do so for a while as Corollas have never let me down.Anyways here are some pics...

This is what it looked like when I bought it first.....

Here are some pics of the interior and engine bay...

This is what it looks like now with my Konig Flatline rims on 195/50 15 Dunlops

I havent yet done any more mods but Im gonna lower it a bit and then do a brake upgrade. What do you guys think??

Thanks aznstylez !!!!! Its not an antenna. Its used for parallel parking at night so you know where that side of the car is.Alot of JDM cars come with that sort of thing. My car also "beeps" when its put into Reverse

sxlostv1, it IS a JDM car.

95WhiteCamry, the stereo impressed me as well thats why its still there. The only problem I have with it is the FM band wont go past 90.Apparently in Japan radio stations dont go past 90 on the FM band.Band expanders are available but I just havent bothered to get one.

ToyotaMan1281, these cars are common as muck here in Jamaica

leasaunce, I like the doorhandles too.Gives the car a little class I think.

dna59, Thanks!!! Good to be here!!! I thought I was the only one on here from the Caribbean!!!

Camread, you would be surprised at how many features JDM cars have as opposed to their export counterparts. Some of the stuff is kinda gimmicky, like the beeping to remind you the car is in reverse, but generally speaking, JDM cars have high spec levels.

UfoZ, I kind alike the "glow stick"

Camread, Ive never thought about it but now that you say it.....

aznstylez, dont you guys have amber indicators these days.I know that American spec corollas in the 80s had amber indicators.I had such a car.....
